Job Description
SME support for resolving Incidents, Problems, Monitoring Events, and Service Requests. Application support teams supporting Bank of America’s core wholesale banking and vendor applications, specializing in payment processing
Responsibilities
- SME support for resolving Incidents, Problems, Monitoring Events, and Service Requests
- Drive process improvements (Automations) and innovation
- Interpret business requirements into design solutions
- Understand the design and development of the project lifecycle
- Code Unit Testing and Component Integration Testing.
- Creation and maintenance of system, functional and reference documentation.
- Provide support during testing phases as required.
- Conduct analysis and recommend bug fixes for production incidents
- Provide On-call support
- Carry out daily health-check activities involving application checks, system checks, and database checks and related on production systems / servers
- Report root cause of the incidents and present ideas on how to prevent the incidents from occurring in future
- Ensure adherence to incident and change management processes
- Regular engagement with Business & Systems Teams looking to adopt and apply the best practice of Service Support.
- Engage in minor ad hoc development projects focusing on process re-engineering and improvement
Requirements
Education: Any Graduation
Certifications If Any: NA
Experience Range: 8 to 12 years
Foundational skills:
- 8+ years of Production support experience in Java, J2EE and Unix based banking applications
- Working knowledge of JAVA/J2EE (Springs / Hibernate/Angular), Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle PL/SQL, , File Gateway
- Knowledge of Message Queues, IBM B2Bi, RDBMS, IBM Portal, WAS Administration is desirable
- Business / Functional knowledge of payment flows & corporate banking (MT103 /MT101)
Desired Skills
- Work with senior management and stakeholders to identify problems, suggest solution and implement improvements.
- Ability to communicate well to other members across the verticals.
- Experience with ITIL framework

The individual will be responsible to play the role of Technical Lead for the applications supporting the Compliance & Surveillance business. This would an individual contributor role.

- Provide Level 2 Support for Siebel Based Applications (Banking Domain)
- Drive triage calls for significant and high priority issues.
- Understand end to end application architecture and configurations.
- Work closely with Level 3 / Dev partners as integral member of agile development.
- Work closely with DevOps to review planned/emergency releases and escalate any potential stability issues.
- Perform Application Resiliency testing.

Individual Performance testing professional will get an opportunity to work with CTO team for end to end performance testing of multiple CSWT applications in agile environment. Tools used are Micro Focus LoadRunner Enterprise, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace etc.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Work on end to end performance testing for multiple applications
- Ascertain and understand application architecture involved in the test
- Requirement gathering/Test Plan preparation and Sign off
- Prepare and validate test scripts
- Ensure sufficient data is available to support the requested tests
- Coordinate test times in multiple test environments
- Validate environment resources
- Support team personnel
- Execute tests and collect relevant performance and resource usage data
- Analyze test data from LRE/Splunk/Perfmon/AppDynamics/Dynatrace
- Deep dive analysis / engineering work activities.
- Prepare test report, discuss the results with Clients and get sign off
- Participate in the application triage calls
