Analytical Chemist Intern at Rheinmetall Denel Munition

The main purpose of the Analytical Chemist Intern is to execute laboratory analysis that is accurate and reliable, in accordance to the approved methods in order to support production. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Routine and non-routine analysis to support continuous production
• Calibration and verification of laboratory equipment
• Accountable for basic laboratory administration and interaction with plant personnel
• Capable of interpretation of data and sentencing
• Adhere to quality and safety requirements.
• Good housekeeping and responsible waste management
• WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
• National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry OR 
• Degree in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry
• Good verbal and written communication
• Self-motivated and independent
• High standard of workmanship
• Good planning and attention to detail
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Good interpersonal skills and coordinating capability
• Office software related proficiencies (Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, etc.)
