The Application Owner will be responsible for managing the development and maintenance of the Loyalty Program platform to identify and meet the present and future technological needs of the business; manage information technology strategic projects; implementation and monitoring of an applications strategy and management of key vendor partners which aligns with the business strategy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead, mentor, coach and grow a team of developers, testers, and business analysts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Instill a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and quality in the team
Oversee the technical roadmap and application lifecycle management for the set of applications in the Rewards portfolio
Ensure that the technical roadmap aligns with the broader Investec technology strategy
Facilitate and align business stakeholders on the business and technical initiatives the team is working on
Facilitate and align cross functional teams in the delivery of technical solutions
Manage vendor partnerships
Experience, skill, and capability
Financial industry experience
3+ years' experience managing IT teams, with a strong understanding of application development processes and technologies
Strong, proven leadership of diverse teams
Strong, proven relationship management with clients and stakeholders
