Good knowledge in MV & LV electrical networks including Switchgears, Protection Relays etc.
Identifying customer needs and position Life Cycle Services Portfolio solutions which add value to the customer assets.
Influence technical specifications to ensure ABB service solutions are qualified and prescribed.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the target segments.
Regular visits to customer sites to collect major IB details in coordination with sales accounts.
Supports in preparing value proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new businesses.
Develop and implement digital solutions as part of product/service packages and software applications with M&S teams.
Generate opportunities and leads to meet the assigned country targets.
Focus on the entire product life cycle pushing for recommended services to ensure customer values of reliability and safety are met.
Ensure proper portfolio mix of service portfolio: Care, Modernization and Advisory.
Own and implement electrification service (ELSE) sales strategies to ensure sustainable growth in orders and profitability.
Keeps track of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential business opportunities.
Generates Service sales leads and develops new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios.
Takes a ABB approach to leverage other colleagues’ portfolios.
Coordinates the product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of ABB’s solutions.
Collaborates with global team to stay updated on new solutions, technical features, enhancements.
Ensure that all related activities meet legal and ethical compliance requirements are in accordance with overall company policies & procedures are conducted with employee safety as a priority and are aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Qualifications for the role
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
5-7 years of experience in technical sales.
Proven track record as an application engineer for switchgears and protection relays.
Background in digital solutions.
Previous engagement and customer relationships with major government end-users entities and industrial customers in the region.
Strong technical expertise in selling service agreements.
Strong English communication & Negotiation skills are a must
