A highly motivated and experienced architect to join our team as the 2IC (second in command) to the Development Director with the long-term view of growing into Head of Development Management. The successful candidate will work directly with the Development Director to plan and execute residential estate developments.
Who are you?
You have knowledge of building codes and regulations, and experience with construction management
You have a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
What’s the role?
You Will Be Responsible For
Assist the Head of Developments in planning and managing all development projects
Work collaboratively with project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Develop basic architectural plans, drawings, and specifications (full-scale building plans to be drafted by an external architectural firm)
Analyze and recommend solutions to design and construction challenges
Review and approve construction plans, designs, and specifications
Manage project budgets and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with project plans and specifications
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members
Attend project meetings and provide updates on project progress and status
Keep up-to-date with current trends, best practices, and technologies related to architecture and construction
