Area Cordinator: Financial Management and Accounting at South African Department of Correctional Services

REQUIREMENTS :

• Recognized Degree/ National Diploma in Financial Management or equivalent with 3 - 5 years relevant management experience at an Assistant Director level in a financial and management accounting environment. Computer literate. Valid driver’s licence.

DUTIES :

• Effective management of financial controls in the management area. 
• Implementation and monitoring of execution of duties in terms of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (PFMA).
• Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Ensure enforcement of financial discipline. Manage human resources, finances and assets. Manage performance information.
