Area Network Owner at Maziv

Main Purpose

• Coordinating the activities on the network to ensure quality, performance of internal and external teams to ensure longevity, quality, and performance of the network. To oversee and manage all activities in a specific geographical area of the Network to ensure, the network is provisioned and maintained to the highest quality.

ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS & TASKS)

• To ensure Circuit Provisioning and Network Acceptance is thorough and accurate, and a high-quality network is delivered. (Over Inspection of network standards vs spec) & > 0.5% fails.
• Ensure that the Network is provisioned for all orders and potential orders. 
• Coordinate preventative maintenance inspection routines, ensuring that the network is proactively inspected.
• Conduct planned Network maintenance to ensure the network is maintained to the highest standard.
• Coordinate the reactive (break fix) maintenance system to ensure that any unplanned issues are resolved as efficiently and effectively as possible. (1,25% of Active subs & NPS 50).
• Practice Effective People management principles.
• Maintain and improve the conditions of elements within the ANO's control not limited to POPS, STREET CABINETS etc
• Ensure efficiency in financial management.
• Document and maintain as-builts according to field activities
• Conduct planned network maintenance and scheduled changes to ensure network is maintained to the highest standard
• To actively manage network incidents throughout the business process

Requirements

Knowledge, experience and qualifications

• Matric
• Preferably a technical Tertiary Education
• 4 years in a team leadership position.
• Preferably experience in a supervisory position.
• Fibre Networks
• Networking advantageous.
