    Area Sales Manager-Mining - Kempton Park (Gauteng)

    Purpose: 

    To manage the group of Mining Account Managers as well as be responsible for the promotion, organization and distribution of the company’s product range. Develop and execute all key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve set financial targets and to maximize profits through staff engagement and development, improved customer satisfaction as well as customer retention.

    • Matric or equivalent
    • Must have a minimum of 3 years managerial experience
    • Completed or studying towards a marketing / business degree or diploma or have a proven track record with relevant experience will be advantageous
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • Result and service orientated
    • Report writing skills
    • Leadership skills and presentation skills
    • Emotional quotient capabilities
    • Strategic thinking skills
    • Computer literacy (MS Office)
    • Product knowledge relevant to Würth South Africa industry
    • Clean disciplinary record
    • Clear criminal and credit (ITC) record

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Managing, coaching and motivating Mining Account Managers within the specified group
    • Implement initiatives to drive sales via the sales force within your area and aggressively grow the Mining Division
    • Oversee and encourage staff development
    • Actively participate in recruitment
    • Mentor, guide and train Mining Account Managers to the company standards
    • Develop the product range for mining
    • Ability to analyze reports and sales figures
