Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain secure and scalable industrial software applications
• Develop HMI screens and SCADA logic
• Integrate PLCs, DCS systems, historians, databases and IIoT platforms
• Design and maintain relational databases and optimise SQL queries
• Implement APIs and messaging interfaces between industrial control systems, IIoT, MOM, ERP and analytics environments

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years’ industrial automation experience
• Hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS or similar industrial platforms
• Proficiency in Python, C# or Java
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience working with databases, APIs or industrial messaging protocols
• Practical SCADA/HMI development and PLC/DCS integration experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally

Advantageous Exposure

Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

• OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs, IIoT, edge/cloud technologies, IP addressing, VLANs, IEC 62443, ISA-95, ISO 9001, DevOps or DevSecOps.
• Project exposure within FMCG, mining, water or manufacturing environments would also be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities

• Secure suitable finance deals for customers by obtaining required supporting documentation
