As such, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Firearms Competent individual to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain inventory of all firearms and related equipment in the armory
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of firearms to ensure they are in good working condition
Provide training and support to security personnel on proper handling and use of firearms
Develop and implement security protocols and procedures related to firearms usage
Coordinate with external agencies and authorities on matters related to firearms licensing and compliance
Respond to emergencies and security incidents as needed
Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices related to firearms usage and security protocols
Requirements:
Psira registered Grade A
Proven experience working in an armory or similar role
Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of firearms and related equipment
Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to firearms handling
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
