Articles Clerk at MECS (Pty) Ltd

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed articles with a minimum of 2 years' practical experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in legal research and writing.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with legal research and drafting legal documents under the guidance of senior attorneys.
• Attending court sessions and client meetings to gain practical exposure to legal proceedings.
• Managing and organizing case files, documents, and correspondence.
• Providing administrative support to the legal team as needed.
• Maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in all tasks and interactions.
