Artisan Assistant

Description
- Receiving instructions or guidance from the Artisan.
- Excavating and backfilling trenches to defined levels using hand held tools.
- Laying pipes and compacting cement mixes and soil reinforce structures using hand held and tools.
- Preparing requisite quantities of materials.
- Cleaning and removing blockages, debris and alien vegetation.
- House keeping.
Requirements
- Secondary Education (NQF 2)
- Preferred Grade 12
- 12 - 18 months relevant experience.
COMPETENCIES:
- Required to work in all weather conditions
- Must be prepared to enter confined areas such as manholes, inlets, pipes and culverts.
- Required to be stand by duty.
- Able to work
