A relevant Trade Test Qualification as a Boilermaker or Millwright or Welder, Trade Test Qualification as a Boilermaker or Millwright would be preferred.
1-2 years’ experience required.
Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Supervisory Experience advantageous.
Valid driver’s licence advantageous.
Must be physically fit and able bodied.
Compulsory to work after hours and over the weekend.
Compulsory to do standby duty.
Key Performance Areas
Managing the optimal control of Urban Waste Management fixed plant and container fleet, manage and control the assets, conduct pro-active and reactive maintenance including checking, greasing, fitting, turning, welding, etc. on plant and equipment in accordance with plan and OEM manuals.
Planned and predictive maintenance.
Completing internal transactional documentation.
Utilise and maintain all maintenance plant and equipment including servicing and stock takes of tools.
