Job Purpose    

• Coordinates and performs tasks/ activities associated with providing a fitting and machining service for the Road Rehabilitation/ Asphalt Paving Branch.

Key Responsibility Areas    

• Performs all the repairs and maintenance of the Asphalt Plant.
• Undertakes inspections, testing and fault finding on all asphalt plant machinery and equipment.Makes various spares, bushes to shafts and cylinders for the asphalt plant.
• Repairs/ replaces all defective/ worn out plant, equipment and accessories.
• Provides general engineering assistance.
• Undertakes general welding repairs.

Essential Requirements    

• Trade Tested Artisan (Millwright).
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 2 years post qualification experience
