    Job Purpose    

    • To cut/trim vegetation in the proximity of HV lines and HV substations that pose a threat to the operation of the HV equipment.

    Key Responsibility Areas    

    • Remove vegetation such as vines growing onto fencing surrounding high voltage underpass enclosures.
    • Erect road signs and redirect traffic under supervision.
    • Undertake excavation work and operate hand held tools relating to such duties.

    Electrical Inspector

    Job Purpose    

    • To inspect electricity reticulations and voltages up to and including 11KV and the specification of maintenance thereof.

    Key Responsibility Areas    

    • Responsible for the inspection of overhead lines, substations, underground mains ancillary equipment and street lighting.
    • Issuing an instruction to repair notices and specifying the period of the maintenance and repair work required.
    • Investigation of system faults to ascertain the cause of faults up to 11kv prior to the restoration of supply.

    Jetting Supervisor

    Job Purpose    

    • To effectively clean and maintain the sewerage system.

    • Undertakes inspections, testing and fault finding on all asphalt plant machinery and equipment.Makes various spares, bushes to shafts and cylinders for the asphalt plant.
    • Repairs/ replaces all defective/ worn out plant, equipment and accessories.
    • Provides general engineering assistance.
    • Undertakes general welding repairs.
