Job Purpose    

• To undertake the repairing, shelving, and processing of library materials and provides baggage  attendant duties

Key Responsibility Areas    

• Undertakes physical processing of new and old library materials.
• Prepares spine labels.
• Undertakes relevant book repairs.
• Undertakes housekeeping of library materials.
• Undertakes baggage counter duties.
• Undertakes clerical duties.
• Participates in setting up and moving of furniture and equipment.
• Participates in stocktaking.
• Undertakes front-line service to the public

Essential Requirements    

• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• 3 Months relevant experience.
