Job Purpose    

• To plan and estimate service connections and design minor low voltage electrical reticulation in the most effective and efficient manner.

Key Responsibility Areas    

• Investigate, plan, design and estimate customer connections.
• Interact with consultants, contractors and consumers and communities.
• Assess the capabilities of low voltage networks.
• Comply with safe working practices, adhere to safety rules and regulations and act in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Providing on the job training to leaners and junior staff.
• Compile reports, graphs and statistics.

Essential Requirements    

• Trade Tested Artisan (Electrician).
• In possession of a NTC2 or NCV3 in Electrical Engineering from a Further Education and Training College registered with the Department of Education.
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 2 Years relevant experience
