ABOUT THE ROLE:

• This role is a permanent full-time position.
• As an Artisan Millwright, you will be responsible to attend to breakdowns and to conduct inspections and execute maintenance tasks on Processing plant, Heavy Mobile Machinery and Loadout station equipment. Will be required to work shifts.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Interprets and coordinates pre-work with regards to repairs, planned and predictive   maintenance;
• Execute all maintenance work in a safe manner;
• Perform lockouts and make the work area safe;
• Test and commission equipment prior to handover;
• Identify and record all subsequent work found during the inspection activities;
• Reporting of events and non-conformances;
• Ensure optimal asset life through application of good maintenance practices.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Millwright;
• In depth mechanical and electrical knowledge of Winders, shafts, compressors, conveyors,   Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings screens, crushers, hydraulic   systems and pumps is essential;
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings is essential;
• Knowledge of Soft starters, Control and Instrumentation and SAP is advantageous.

Qualifications for this role are:

• N2 Technical Certificate (Internal Candidates) and N3 Technical Certificate (External   Candidates) with a recognized Millwright trade test;
• Valid Code B (08) Driver’s license is essential.
