Assistant Chief Traffic Law Enforcement - Safety and Community Services at Drakenstein Municipality

JOB PURPOSE:

• Manages the implementation, monitoring, evaluations and reporting sequences of outcomes associated with plans and programmes designed to accomplish key service delivery objectives with respect to Law Enforcement through the co-ordination of operations associated with the enforcement of legislation in order to ensure the risk of damage to property is limited through prompt and efficient execution of sequences and applications.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

• Grade 12
• Basic traffic training qualification attained
• Relevant 3rd year tertiary qualification (NQF level 5)
• Code EC/A driver’s licence
• Examiner of driving licence- Grade A
• Examiner of Vehicles- Grade A
• Computer literacy
• No criminal record
• Firearm proficiency
