Assistant Data And Financial Analyst at Flash Group

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cellular EU/UK:

• Prepare monthly reporting pack for the EU/UK SIMs business to be presented to the management team
• Formulate and maintain models that can be used to distribute SIMs based on efficiencies and organizational distribution strategy
• Implement the data acquisition strategy and assist with the setting up of the data acquisition pipelines and to ensure seamless reporting
• Conduct rigorous data audits to ensure accuracy and usability of the data thereof recommending sound remedial actions where necessary.
• Creation of various monthly reports to be used by stakeholders (both internal and external)
• Ensure that SIMs distributor deals are captured correctly as per approved deals
• Assist the financial analyst with the payment of distributors and key trader partners
• Ensure that all processes are clearly documented, and necessary controls are in place to safeguard business value
• Analysis of Cellular department income statement and provide with relevant comments for management’s attention
• Perform adhoc analysis to help management team have deep understating of the business performance

Cellular SA:

• Perform adhoc analysis of the business performance as may be requested by the Senior financial analysts from time to time
• Take lead to ensure all the processes are clearly documented and sound controls are outlined
• Manage the relationship between Cellular team and BI Team to maximize interdepartmental synergies

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

• 1 -2 years’ experience in similar role
• BSc degree (Actuarial Science) or similar degree with majors such as Mathematics, Statistics. (Advantageous) 
• Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of analyzing reports from Xero or any other accounting system
