Assistant Director: Facilities And Records Management (SL9)
A recognized three-year National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in Building Management, Safety Management, Construction Management, or a related qualification.
Three (3) to five (5) years' experiences in Facilities Management, SHERQ, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) environment.
Understanding of asset management, infrastructure maintenance, and administrative procedures in a public sector environment.
Computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
Valid driver's licence.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Sound understanding of facilities management, maintenance planning, security management and occupational health and safety standards.
Familiarity with the public sector legislation and regulations. Knowledge of Public Service Act and Regulations. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations. Understanding of the Government Immovable Asset Management Act (GIAMA).
Knowledge of the Telephone Management System, Fire Control System and Facilities Management System.
Strong leadership, planning and organizational skills.
Understanding of budgeting and procurement processes.
Financial management, project management and people management skills.
Knowledge of records and document management policies and systems.
Good communication, interpersonal, problem solving, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage the team effectively.
