Assistant Electrician at Cape Peninsula University of Technology

Job Purpose

• The incumbent will be required to provide electrical services and perform maintenance, repairs and replacements on all electrical systems, infrastructure and equipment, as well as assist the electrician in the repairing, maintenance and overhaul of electrical plant, equipment and installations in the properties of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

•  Martic/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
•  Plumbing Competency Based Modular Training (CBMT) course
•  At least one (1) years' experience in the plumbing environment
•  At least one (1) years' experience in an electrical field
•  Electrical trade test certificate
•  Computer literacy (Ms Office suite)

Recommendation
•  Driver's license Code 08
