Job Purpose

• The incumbent will be required to provide electrical services and perform maintenance, repairs and replacements on all electrical systems, infrastructure and equipment, as well as assist the electrician in the repairing, maintenance and overhaul of electrical plant, equipment and installations in the properties of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

•  Martic/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
•  Plumbing Competency Based Modular Training (CBMT) course
•  At least one (1) years' experience in the plumbing environment
•  At least one (1) years' experience in an electrical field
•  Electrical trade test certificate
•  Computer literacy (Ms Office suite)

• Do various maintenance repairs on campus and other designated buildings as requested by the Foreman, Line Manager or by the job-card specifications. Assist Handyman to execute minor maintenance repairs (and/or new installations) on campus and other designated buildings as well as assisting in moving/arranging furniture & equipment.

•  Matric/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
•  At least two (2) years' relevant experience working in a general building or the construction sector

• BTech or Bachelor's Degree in fundraising, marketing, communication, public relations management, business administration or relevant qualification.
• At least 4 years of experience in fundraising, especially from government sources.
