Assistant Plumber at Cape Peninsula University of Technology

Job Purpose

To perform plumbing work such as repairs/maintenance to all plumbing installations/equipment/appliances, as well as being able to do fault finding. To assist the Plumber, do various repairs on campus and other designated buildings.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

•  Matric/Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
•  Plumbing Competency Based Modular Training (CBMT) course
•  At least one (1) years' experience in the plumbing environment
•  Knowledge & exposure to domestic irrigation plumbing
•  Knowledge & exposure to heat pumps and hot water systems
•  Knowledge & exposure to fire reticulation, piping and fitting of fire hose reels

Recommendations
•  A valid driver's license
