Assistant Extrusion (PP) Operator at Freedom Stationery (Pty) LTD

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To achieve set productivity levels as per work standards.
• Assist in setting up machines for specific raw materials usage and the changeover of all machinery.
• Record hourly/daily production.
• Responsible for quality control- all output must be in accordance with specifications as laid down by management.
• Ensure correct roll dimensions loaded as per Job requirement.
• Assist Senior Production Operator to set die sizes according to current work standards.
• To assist in operating machines performing sequences of operations and undertaking specific activities by:
• Checking settings and devices and activating correct measures if necessary.
• Observing readings on visual displays and initiating adjustments.
• Observe for malfunctioning and report to Senior Production Operator.
• Reporting on condition and status of parts requiring replacement and repair on daily checks.

Requirements

• Grade 12/ the equivalent
• Attention to detail
• Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual
• 1-2 years skilled Extrusion operational experience
