Assistant Junior Dairy Parlour Manager - Kokstad

Our client is looking for an Assistant Junior Dairy Parlour Manager to join the team.

Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.

This position would suit a single person due to accommodation on the farm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Agricultural Diploma / Degree highly advantageous
- Min of 3 years previous dairy experience
- Experience in cattle management
- Must have knowledge of milk parlour equipment and farm machinery
- Ability to speak Xhosa advantageous
- Being mechanically/maintenance orientated is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and oversee milk parlour employees – training, work schedules, checking employees are doing their work efficiently
- Caring for fresh or sick cows
- Assisting in vet checks & vaccinations etc.
