NQF Level 5 certification in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a relevant trade test certification.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in general maintenance, building facilities management, or construction project management, with at least 3 years in a management role within a 4 or 5-star hotel maintenance department.
Strong experience in implementing and maintaining Stock Management Control Systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Solid financial acumen.
In-depth understanding of Health and Safety standards and Environmental Impact Controls; relevant qualifications or experience in these areas are advantageous.
Technical knowledge of hotel maintenance, including building maintenance, air conditioning systems, refrigeration, plumbing, water supply, and electrical systems.
Knowledge of hot water reticulation systems and pumped sewer systems.
Highly presentable and professional.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
Ability to work under pressure, with flexibility for weekend and public holiday shifts.
