Assistant Management Accountant Fixed Term Contract at AVI Limited

Key Performance Areas:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Compile the following reports:

• Monthly results packs for the business unit
• Quarterly results packs
• Ad hoc OPEX spend
• Provide meaningful analysis of above mentioned reports to departmental managers at CTF

 Financial Checks, Controls & Reconciliations:

• Analysis of specific cost drivers and/or income statement accounts
• Monitoring and reporting on overhead recoveries
• Financial oversight of key operational processes and reconciliations
• Manpower
• Fishing Gear
• Fuel
• Overheads
• Other related costs
• Monitoring and reporting on overhead recoveries including
• Labour
• Charge outs
• Fishing/Production
• Other ad hoc spend tracking and verifications

 Month End Activities:

• Perform the following month-end financial processing activities:
• Verifying that income statement values are correct
• By trial balance classification
• By cost centre classifications
• Reasonable in relation to the underlying activity
• Verifying that appropriate controls are in place

 Budget and Forecast Processes:

• Perform the following functions for forecast and budget purposes:
• Compile budget and results packs
• Assist shore managers in the compilation of overhead budge

Minimum Requirements:
Experience:                                                                   

• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience

 Qualifications:

• Bcom degree essential
• CIMA/ACCA or studying towards
