Assistant Manager Nursing (PB-B4): Mother, Child, Women, Youth and Health (MCWYH) (Readvertisement) at Mpumalanga Department of Health

Requirements

• Senior Certificate Grade 12 plus Basic R425 qualification i.e. Diploma Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse 2025.  A post-basic nursing qualification with a duration of at least 1 year accredited with the SANC in Paediatric  Child Care PHC Advanced Midwifery.
• A minimum of ten 10 years appropriate recognisable experience in nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with the SANC in general nursing.
• At least six 6 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate recognisable experience in the Specific Specialty after obtaining the 1-year post-basic qualification in the relevant specialty. At least three 3 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate  recognisable experience at management level. 

Duties

• To coordinate and support the implementation of Mother Child Women Youth and Health MCWYH Programmes. Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of Maternal and Child Health Programmes.
• Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of the Integrated Nutrition Programme. Ensure the implementation of national and provincial policies.
• Facilitate the provision of adequate woman and youth health care services. Facilitate the provision of adequate and safe maternal and child health care services. Facilitate the improvement of standards of health care for women and youth.
• Facilitate the improvement of standards of health care for maternal and child health. 
• Render advice and technical support services to the district. Monitor and evaluate the impact of implementation of policies and guidelines.
• Coordinate the implementation of National and Provincial INP policies and guidelines. Plan and coordinate INP Services. Monitor and evaluate INP Services. Coordinate the implementation of poverty alleviation projects.
