An appropriate National diploma, BTech or First Degree relevant to the Property discipline.
At least 2 – 5 years’ relevant experience in the property management environment.
Knowledge of Local Government and Property Industry legislation, policies and procedures.
Good understanding of applications of procedures relating to the leasing of Council’s immovable property.
Good public relations, communication and report-writing skills
Computer literacy (MS Office packages)
Competence in SAP Real Estate Module will be advantageous
Key Performance Areas
Assisting with the processing of applications to lease immovable property; executing lease administration, drafting reports, dealing with objections/appeals comments, monitoring, maintain and updating records with valuations, delegation control and stats updates.
Assisting with and providing functional specific training and control and general leadership in the section.
Participating, liaising and adhere to section and department communications strategy.
Providing support for the implementation of the SAP Real Estate functionality within the region; capture lease-out agreements, attend to lease-out account queries, assisting with the coordination of debt management processes ( ie dunning processes), assist with audit queries.
