Associate Trade Marketing Manager at The LEGO Group

Job Description

• We are looking for Trade Marketing professional who will help bring fun of LEGO play to more kids in South Africa. The role will focus on trade marketing communication for different channels, from our own retail stores to grocery. If this is, you then apply!

Core Responsibilities

• Build an integrated plan for marketing campaigns across partners in-country and own the campaign implementation in trade.
• Coordinate Trade Marketing as well as Merchandising agency work.
• Collaborate with LEGO Stores partners on new stores launches and existing stores support.
• Prepare ad-hoc Consumer Sales analysis as well as 'After Action Review' of marketing campaigns.
• Partner with the relevant regional and local teams to ensure consistency of execution.
• Collaborate with retail partners towards driving outstanding execution.
• Play your part in our team succeeding.
• As a member of the Middle East and Africa Team this role will lead the implementation of Trade Marketing agenda

Do you have what it takes?

• 3-4 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in FMCG/ Toys industry in RSA
• Ability to travel 20-30% of time, including internationally.
• Be independent contributor demonstrating resourcefulness.
• Able to set quantifiable and meaningful targets.
• A focus on execution with strong commercial competence and drive to succeed.
• An excellent communicator, able to collaborate and build lasting relationships within a multi-cultural team across different locations (including external partners)
• Open to learn and acquire new skills.
• English proficient both written and spoken (another South African language is a plus)
