    Assurecloud Food Auditor Cape Town

    Responsibilities:

    • Review of the upcoming months schedule and confirmation of such.
    • Review of the daily schedules and advise updates where and if applicable.
    • Advise formally of all aborted audits where and if applicable.
    • Comply to the company policy on updates of schedules.
    • Correct PPE to be clean, available and worn at all times when on audits.
    • PPE to be applicable to special requirements as per client requirements.
    • Refer to the Aspirata Dress Code House Rules. 
    • Working to procedures the auditor will be required to undertake detailed evaluations of food premises, procedures, and practices against pre-determined standards.
    • Conform to client specific behaviour requirements during audits/visits.
    • Conduct opening and closing meetings.
    • Confirm close-out of disputes where applicable.
    • Fill in Client Confirmation Slip on every audit.
    • Using objective evidence gained through the evaluations, the auditor will be required to prepare detailed reports in an accurate and concise manner to formulate findings.
    • In addition, the auditor will be required to report findings verbally to clients.
    • Comply to the required turn-around time as per client standard
    • Maintain specific client rules and standards during evaluations and with findings
    • The Auditor will be required to employ relevant risk assessment standards when planning and conducting audits to safeguard themselves.
    • Conduct a quality check on the report prior uploading it to the system.
    • Required to work on weekends for certain groups of clients, and compensated in line with our over-time policy.
    • All audits to be done within the timeframe and KPI’s of client requirements.
    • Auditors are required to travel as needed and as per client requirements.
    • Auditors are required to have valid passports.
    • Accommodation is booked by the company.
    • All update requests will be reviewed/considered 3 days prior booking.
    • Weekend travel and accommodation will be reviewed/considered on an individual basis. 
    • Company equipment to be kept clean.
    • Company Equipment to be maintained.
    • All equipment used during audits are clean and in a good working condition.
    • Upholds ethics and values.

    Requirements

    Qualification:

    • National Diploma in Environmental Health or Food Safety

    Experience:

    • 1 to 2 years food safety or occupational health and safety inspections experience
