A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children
Area: Birdhaven
Children’s Ages: 12 year old (Grade 6) and 13 year old (Grade 8) in 2026
Working hours: Monday to Friday 14:00 - 18:00 (times may vary slightly due to extra murals)
School holiday hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
Duties: Collect from school, take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework, run general family errands, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child
Special Requirements: Late 20's preferably. English speaking.
Start Date and contract term: January – permanent
Salary: R9500pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
