Au Pair | Craighall Park | R12 000 - R12 500 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children
• Area: Craighall Park
• Children’s Ages: Boys - Grade R (Twins)
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 14:00 to 18:00
• School holiday hours: Monday - Friday: 14h00 - 18h00, full days will be requested with prior notice and additional hours (over and above normal working hours) will be paid as overtime.
• Duties: Transport children between school, home, and extra-mural activities. Assist with homework, projects, and test preparation. Liaise with teachers on children’s progress where needed. Prepare and serve meals. Engage children in intellectually stimulating play and developmentally appropriate activities. Plan fun and creative activities. Take children to appointments and other scheduled outings. Use petty cash, petrol card, or family credit card to purchase supplies. Manage shopping for children’s needs. Assist with bath-time routines when needed. Babysit and work some weekends (by prior arrangement). Accompany and manage children on outings and playdates. Run errands for the family. Maintain positive communication with parents and staff. Help children organize school bags, stationery, and bedrooms, while teaching tidying habits. Babysitting with prior notice.
• Special Requirements: Teaching experience or qualified Teacher
• School: Craighall Primary School
• Start Date and contract term: January/February 2026 start - permanent
• Salary: R12 000 – R12 500 per month + SARS Rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
