Au Pair | Meadowridge | R9000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 13:30 – 17:30

• A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their son
•  Area: Meadowridge
• Children's Ages: 4 year old - Boy
• Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 13:30 – 17:30
• School Holiday Hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• Duties: Collect from school, take him to any extra murals, engage a 4 year old boy who is full of energy, curiosity and interests, physically active and able to take him for walks, cycle rides and swimming, believes in discipline with love and gentleness, able to drive, able to drop him off at music, art and other afternoon activities, able to support him with beginning to learn to read and write, which he is very passionate about, able to implement games and learning exercises focused on mathematics and coding that the parents design for him but do not have time to do with him every day.
• Special Requirements: First aid certified or willing to obtain, fluent in English, preferably younger, gentle but clear and consistent with discipline, does not shout or use rough language to gain attention, firmly believes in non-violence and avoids language or metaphors relating to shooting, hitting or violence, does not use screen time, ideally has strong intellectual foundations and a genuine love of reading and reading to children, experienced in caring for younger children and willing to invest the time and effort to understand and support them as individuals, encourages autonomy and supports the child's natural curiosity and exploratory instincts while also providing appropriate guidance, caution and boundaries.
• Start Date & Contract Term: ASAP - permanent
• Salary: R9000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
