Au Pair | Morningside Manor | R8 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Morningside Manor
• Children's Ages: Girl - 7 years (Grade 2)
• Working hours: Monday and Wednesday 14:30 – 18:00, Thursday and Friday 14:30 – 17:00, Tuesdays off (Hours may shift slightly from term to term in line with the school timetable.)
• School holiday hours: Candidate to take annual leave when family takes leave. Where family leave exceeds 15 days per cycle, leave over 15 days given to the au pair as a result, will be offset against school holiday cover (hours worked back during school holidays when required). This is limited to leave taken by the family.
• Duties: School collection, transport to extramurals and playdates, homework and reading support, preparing snacks and light meals, helping prepare for the next school day, engaging in fun and educational activities, and keeping parents updated where needed.
• Special Requirements: Female with 2-3 years driving experience, own reliable vehicle with Isofix, childcare experience with similar ages, energetic, proactive and engaging personality, comfortable with pets. First Aid preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Start Date and contract term: ASAP - permanent
• Salary: R8 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) + SARS Rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
