Au Pair | Tamboerskloof | R11 000 - R14 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children
• Area: Tamboerskloof
• Children's Ages: 7 and 5 years old
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday 14:30 - 18:00 (16:30 on Tuesdays when they have activities)
• School Holiday Hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• Duties: School collections, snacks, homework supervision (candidate is not expected to assist with homework in French, just supervise and ensure homework is being done), driving to swimming on Wednesdays. Hosting the children's friends for playdates and generally running their afternoon logistics. Ad hoc household errands. One agreed weekday evening of babysitting per week and ad hoc Saturday assistance.

Special Requirements: 

• A mature, settled carer who wants a long-term home with one family. Stability matters a great deal to us, and we will ask for references showing multi-year placements. Experienced with primary-school children and confident running a calm, consistent homework routine. Warm, organised, and patient, someone who can bring a calm atmosphere for two energetic kids.
• The IDEAL candidate would be a licensed, safe driver with own reliable car. It would be amazing if they would be available during school holidays for additional hours by arrangement, paid separately. Finally, it would be phenomenal if they also spoke French, but this is not non-negotiable.
• Start Date & Contract Term: September - permanent
• Salary: R11 000 – R14 000 per month - depending on experience and any qualifications (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
