Au Pair | Wendywood at Au Pair Extraordinaire

Duties: 

• Collect from school (after school / after sports); on Weds and Thurs drive to OT, wait and bring back home; collect from school after sports/ away sports (ad hoc when I am not available)

Special Requirements: 

• I am looking for an experienced Au Pair that can help with Maths, Afrikaans and Art homework, enforce study ethic and all round discipline in a kind non-threatening way. Au Pair needs to ensure he eats after school, does and completes homework, studies incrementally for scheduled weekly tests. Prefer someone who studied in ISSA school system, who can reinforce some learning in the car in a playful way (like times tables).  Outdoors person who will join him for outdoor activities like cycling, tennis, squash, Jozi X.  Late 20s to 30s, Psychology student/graduate; teaching / tutor experience. Own car and experienced driver/ must be willing to use family car. No Pretoria candidates please, I need someone who lives close.  

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child-caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
