Automotive Apprentice (Learner Technician) - Open to designated groups only at Rola Motor Group

Job Advert Summary    

• Rola Toyota Bredasdorp is looking for an Automotive Apprentice (Learner Technician) to be trained and developed to kickstart a technical career in the motor industry. The essential requirement however is minimum Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science as subjects.

Minimum Requirements    

• Min Grade 12, with Mathematics & Science as subjects
• Automotive subject will be highly advantageous
• Young, vibrant and willing to learn
• Technical skills and a keen enthusiasm for motor vehicles
• Good timekeeping and ability to work under pressure
• Good verbal communication skills (most training offered in English)
• Must reside in Bredasdorp or surrounding areas 

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Assists a qualified technician with servicing & repairs to vehicles while developing towards becoming a fully qualified, Red Seal–accredited Technician.
• Learn how to accurately clock times on all jobs.
• Ensure understanding of Repair Order Instructions before work begins
• Learn how to plan a job and identify parts that must be ordered
• Attends prescribed training
