We are looking for a hands-on AV/IT Support Technician to join our client's team. This is primarily an office/control-room based position, providing technical support and monitoring across the business, with occasional travel to sites required.
The ideal candidate will have a practical, can-do attitude and be comfortable getting involved in everything from basic IT support and networking to AV equipment and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day IT and technical support from the control room.
Monitor and troubleshoot guest WiFi and network connectivity.
Provide AV setup and troubleshooting support, including TVs, display systems and guest interfaces.
Monitor CCTV and fire systems.
Assist with basic network and office IT support.
Troubleshoot hardware, cabling, printers, PCs and other office equipment.
Provide remote and occasional on-site technical support.
Escalate more complex technical issues where necessary.
Requirements:
Previous IT/technical support experience would be advantageous.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn.
Valid Code 08 driver's licence.
Hospitality/lodge IT experience would be advantageous.
Experience with Ruckus, UniFi or other WiFi/networking technologies would be a strong advantage.
