REQUIRED SKILLS

• 5+ years’ solid experience architecting and engineering security and / or cloud security solutions.
• Demonstrable experience in using architecture methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of network and cloud security.
• Strong knowledge of information security policies and frameworks.
• Ability to develop and document methods, standards, and guidelines.
• Ability to engage with Executive management and relevant engineering stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with a strong ability to work and maintain security knowledge in a changing landscape.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS security services (e.g., IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF).
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection.
• Positive, proactive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
• Must be able to guide junior team members.
• Able to work autonomously either in the office or complete remote.
• Available to work from the office or customers location when needed.

RESPONSIBILITES

Security Vulnerability Management:

• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of AWS infrastructure.
• Identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities in the cloud environment.
• Monitor security alerts and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Perform root cause analysis for security incidents and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Security Architecture and Design:

• Design and implement robust security architectures for AWS environments.
• Ensure that AWS security best practices are followed, including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and security group rules.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards for AWS resources.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial services regulations and standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GDPR).
• Conduct risk assessments and create risk mitigation plans.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for security compliance and audits.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS security features, tools, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance security operations.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with the client's IT and security teams to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct security training and awareness sessions for client stakeholders.
• Communicate security issues and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
