Job Advert Summary    

• To batch and dispatch quality ready-mix concrete in accordance with approved mix designs, production schedules, and safety standards while ensuring optimal plant and truck utilisation and excellent customer service.

Minimum Requirements    

• Gr. 12.
• C&CI SCT 20 or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Computer literacy – Batchman and MS Office
• Interpersonal and human relation skills
• Code EB Driver License
• Ability to work independently
• Management and supervisory skills
• Accuracy and ability to give attention to detail
• Target and deadline driven
• Must work overtime from time to time.
• To achieve Maximum Plant production output
• To reduce batching variances to zero and enhance quality.
• Be customer focused, deliver excellent customer service.
• Only dispatch quality concrete from the plant, maintain highest level of batching controls and concrete Quality
• Experience in working in a highly pressurized environment

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Batch concrete strictly according to approved mix designs and quality specifications
• Ensure only compliant, quality concrete is dispatched from the plant
• Maintain accurate batching, slump, variance, and production records
• Conduct pre-start plant checks and report defects or incidents immediately
• Monitor raw material availability and support maximum plant and truck utilisation
• Liaise with customers to ensure efficient service delivery
• Adhere to all safety, lock-out, and quality control procedures
• Escalate non-conforming concrete, incidents, or deviations to management
• Perform reasonable and lawful duties as required
• Zero batching variances
• Maximum production output
• High quality and customer satisfaction
• Strict compliance with safety and quality standards
