PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:
Perform CRM duties for allocated clients. This entails:
Comprehensively understand our BCM Toolkit Software (“Toolkit”) platform
Build and maintaining long term relationships with key clients by ensure Toolkit is used effectively by the clients
Resolve client complaints quickly and efficiently
Regularly checking in on clients to ensure they're satisfied with the company and Toolkit
Keep clients updated on the latest software and consulting developments
Expand the client base by upselling and cross-selling
Understand key client needs and addressing these
Meet with Project Sponsors in the organisation to strategically plan next phases.
Conduct Project Governance requirement, e.g., project plans, budgets
Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Threat Assessments using Toolkit
Develop Business Continuity frameworks/strategies/solutions using Toolkit
Develop Business Continuity/Crisis Management/IT DR plans using Toolkit
Assist with IT Disaster Recovery projects
Build/facilitate/coordinate scenario testing programs
Provide general Risk Management and Business Continuity advice/assistance
Develop/deliver Business Continuity and Crisis Management training programs
Conduct Business Continuity and Crisis Management reviews/audits
Contribute to product and service development or other non-billable consultancy team activities
Maintain current operational resilience and continuity industry knowledge (to a high level) and keep up to date on changes to current and new operational and BC regulations and standards
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent understanding of the Business Continuity standard ISO22301 and the BCI Good Practice Guidelines 2018 (i.e. Is able to discuss the documents in detail and can advise clients what is required to meet these standards) – applicant will be tested on this.
MBCI and/or ISO 22301 Lead Implementer minimum requirement
Establish, develop and maintain positive and professional stakeholder relationships
Be a motivated, enthusiastic, conscientious self-starter who has a passion for Business Continuity and enjoys a challenge
Relishes working in a team of highly motivated and highly skilled individuals
Excellent communicator who is comfortable meeting with and expressing themselves to client staff, line management and executive team members
Excellent written skills (Word and Excel), in particular planning and report writing skills.
Excellent presentation skills (writing and delivering PowerPoint presentations)
Excellent meeting facilitation skills
Ability to work and manage multiple client engagements concurrently to tight delivery deadlines
Comfortable with travel requirements that may result in many “away days” for certain clients. May include out of country and Africa trips
Desire to develop personal Business Continuity knowledge and skills further
Commitment to excellence, and desire to help promote and develop BCM at Morgan Solus
A high-level understanding of business continuity planning tools and software, notification tools and recovery strategies for technology and premises and the ability to use these effectively to deliver client engagements
IDEAL REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years in the Business Continuity/Crisis Management/Disaster Recovery field
Experience working on an Operational Resilience programme
Should have strong knowledge of other Risk domains like Operations Risk Management, IT Security, Cyber Risks, Corporate Security, Health and Safety, to be able to evaluate these Risks.
Experience delivering Crisis Management exercises to executive teams
“Hands on” experience of rehearsals / tests
Currently in a role that involves direct customer contact
Understanding of the principles of IT Service Continuity Management and the integration with Business Continuity
ISO22301 Lead Auditor certified and/or Industry recognised certifications from BCI, DRI, ISO, other similar Bodies
Excellent understanding of ISO31000 Risk Management and BS 11200
Financial Services Industry Experience
