• Our Client, We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our Data Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our SQL Reporting Services and Power BI solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of data management principles, the ability to lead a team, and a passion for delivering.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Data Strategy & Governance
• Develop and implement data management best practices, including data quality, data security, and data governance policies.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting platforms.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's overall data strategy.
• SQL Reporting Services & Power BI Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and dashboards.
• Integrate data from various sources (e.g., databases, APIs, cloud platforms) into centralised cloud repository.
• Data Analysis & Insights
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate those needs into actionable insights.
• Conduct data analysis and generate reports to support business decision-making across all departments.
• Proactively identify areas for data improvement and recommend solutions.
• Operational Involvement
• Actively participate in operational activities to gain a deep understanding of business processes and data requirements.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
• Technical Expertise
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) development and administration.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
• Experience with data integration tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Fabric) is a plus.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience leading a data team.
• 2 + years of experience with SYSPRO ERP databases 
• Proven experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in a data management or business intelligence role.
