We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Data Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for consulting with our clients on their data needs, the architecture of appropriate solutions, and the leadership of a team of engineers involved in the delivery of data solutions.

You would be very conscious of the importance of sharing knowledge and building other team members in the process of leading a team. 

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities of Role 

• Consulting directly with business users to elicit reporting and BI requirements 
• Designing the architecture of appropriate data solutions. 

Getting involved in, and leading a team of data professionals responsible for: 

• ETL pipeline development (Azure Data Factory).
• Data warehouse modelling.
• Dashboard and report development using Power BI.

Minimum Requirements 

• Software development orientated degree or qualification. 

Minimum 7 years of experience as a BI engineer responsible for: 

• Pipeline development.
• Dashboarding and reporting
• Data modelling
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a role responsible for the architecture of BI solutions and team leadership. 
• Experience consulting directly with business users on their data needs. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (our clients are some of the world’s largest property manager / owners who have head offices in the East Coast of the US and England).
