The BIM Modeller, performs routine, structured work in a required discipline and demonstrates ability to take on more complex tasks
An intermediate user in Autodesk Revit Software (Buildings) or similar, who can draw/model with limited supervision having the ability to create content within a specific discipline. Must also be an intermediate user in other core discipline specific software.
Good understanding and experience in modelling in REVIT and other BIM platforms.
Understand BIM modelling principles.
Discipline in approach to engineering.
General knowledge of local standards and codes.
Be able to work within a disciplined engineering environment.
An intimate working knowledge of REVIT.
Working knowledge of clash detection Software Applications.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation.
An intimate working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, etc.
Good communication and people management skills for effective interface with other engineering disciplines, the client and contractors.
The ability to work independently.
An awareness and appreciation for health, safety and environmental issues.
Routine/repeated tasks accomplished within assistance
Receives guidance or direction from others with limited discretion to vary from established procedures
Contributes by performing routine, structure work assignments in specific job function, expanding complexity of tasks performed
Follow standard operating procedures/methodologies, using them to solve routine or standard problems.

Qualifications
2-5 Years relevant experience within a consulting engineering environment.
