Board Consultant (xP&A) at Salt South Africa

Key Role Requirements:

• Technology Focus: The consultant must have experience specifically with Board software (ignore Workday technology).
• Consulting Experience: Minimum 5 years of consulting experience in finance/enterprise performance management solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Implementing and optimizing Board EPM solutions for clients.
• Designing financial planning, forecasting, and reporting solutions using Board.
• Working with business analysts to analyze business needs and configure Board accordingly.
• Managing data integrations, building input sheets, reports, workflows, and security setup.
• Extracting data from ERPs and balancing loaded data.
• Providing documentation and training to users.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, modeling).
• Knowledge of multi-dimensional data models.
• Understanding of financial processes and analytics.
• A BCom Honours in Information Management, Accounting, or Finance is highly beneficial.

Location & Engagement Model:

• Preferred: Candidates in Cape Town for on-site/hybrid work.
• Remote: Will be considered for the right skill set.
• Rate: No set budget; the client will assess based on experience and skills.
• Level: Intermediate to Senior consultants needed.
• Hiring: Multiple contractors may be required.
