The Boilermaker Plater needs provides engineering technical service to underground area. Maintain, install and commission of the machinery and equipment to an agreed standard in the area of responsibility.
Work of Role
Conducts and participate in risk assessments
Attend to breakdowns and emergencies as required
Records results of all legal examinations in the appropriate format
Maintains a high quality of work
Completing job cards and description of work and spares used (PM’s)
Applying appropriate tools to complete tasks
Provide timely and accurate information
Ensure that material, spares, and equipment are available as required
Comply to environmental requirements
Report at risk behaviour, incidents, and injuries
Qualifications
Grade 12
Boilermaker Trade Certificate
Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Boilermaker Plater in the mining environment
