Boilershop Manager at Bilnor Staffing Solutions

• Bilnor Staffing Solutions' client in the mining sector is looking for an experienced and qualified Boilershop Manager to join their team in Kempton Park Gauteng.  South African citizens and those living in the area will have preference.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Trade Test Certificate as a Boilermaker (Red Seal).
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a boilershop or heavy engineering environment.
• At least 3–5 years' experience in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, pressure vessels, piping, and heavy plate work.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and welding procedures.
• Sound knowledge of welding processes (MMA, MIG, TIG, FCAW, SAW) and relevant quality standards.
• Experience planning and coordinating workshop production schedules.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and non-destructive testing (NDT) requirements.
• Good understanding of Occupational Health & Safety Act (OHSA) requirements and safe workshop practices.
• Experience managing teams, subcontractors, and workshop resources.
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office); experience with ERP or maintenance management systems will be advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Advantageous Qualifications:

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Production Management.
• Welding Inspector qualification (CSWIP, IIW, or equivalent).
• Supervisory or management training.
