Bookkeeper (Hospitality) at Parvana

What you will be doing:

• Oversee accounting functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accurate and complete financial data.
• Gather timely and precise information, as well as keeping informed on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Offer financial insights and assistance in order to contribute to business growth and profitability.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management.
• Provide support to the Finance Accountant and Management as needed.

What you need:

• 2+ years experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or similar field is preferred.
• Experience with Xero accounting software would be beneficial.
• Hospitality related experience would be an advantage, ideally in the short-term rentals space.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be highly organised, able to manage tasks independently, hardworking, efficient, and deadline-oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent reporting skills and be skilled in Microsoft 365 and Google Suite.
